SHID LATTA
Shid Latta, from Baltimore, Unleashes his third album “LOVE + OTHERx DRUG$” which is about his life and life in general. And the ups and downs/pleasure and pain that comes with being in love and the use and distribution of drugs. They are both very similar and can create and/or destroy lives.” L+ODs is a mix of Rap, Hip Hop, Rock and Electronic/Pop. It features the acclaimed singles “Bet That” (produced by Sibling Jointz), “How It Is” (produced by Evolution MS), and “High” featuring Tove Lo (produced by Hippie Sabotage.) It also features a rap/rock cover of ‘Tainted Love’ (based on the Marilyn Manson version), a rap cover of ‘Separate Ways’ by Jourrugs.ney, as well as skits featuring clips from the movie Love and Other D “The lyrics are instantly entertaining, Shid’s self-belief clear from the outset with the bold lines ‘Bar for bar I am da best, just go ask the internet‘. Fortunately, Shid certainly does have the skill and so it’s not just a case of bravado. It’s one thing to talk the talk, but Shid can most certainly walk the walk.” – music critic Alex Faulkner (The Faulkner Review) “Keeping the lyrics real by mixing emotion and experiences, Shid Latta invites us in to his life through his music. If you’re anything like us you’ll listen to ‘Bet That’ over and over again.” “Shid Latta is bringing hardcore rap back to its roots with this single, and could well go on to redefine it for a new generation.” Also, as a true modern entrepreneur, Shid will also be launching IV.II.O. Clothing Company (pronounced EYE-VEE-OH) this fall.
