Tae Zu is an artist that makes you think. With his wild style in fused with high energy gives the listener something new pushing away from the norm then what was normally heard. Born Dante Greene he was raised in El Paso TX. Always being a extreamly multi-talented person he found himself attracted to hip hop and other music at a young age as well. Being infuanced by jazz, classical orchestra music, funk, rock and many others. He formed a relationship with hip hop around the age of 12 years old. Soon starting on own carrear of his own at the age of 18. Finally branching off from a previous recording label under the name Tae Zu. If there was an opportunity to perform she was ready, mostly rocking off to Baltimore club mix(RIPkswift), acting out scenes from her favorite movies, reciting poems she wrote, posing for the camera or showing off her wide receiver and running back skills. Hailing from the Rosemont community of west Baltimore, Israel experienced anything but a normal upbringing. Growing up without both of his parents, Israel had to learn the art of survival at a very young age. Although the cards were seemingly stacked against him, his grandmother served as a source of unconditional love and security for him; a driving force in him wanting to be greater. Israel first connected with Hip Hop when he heard LL Cool J's Going Back to Cali, and that would eventually lead to him competing in an elementary school talent show for dramatic reading. Around that time he witnessed a pair of neighborhood hustlers rally kids on the play ground with sounds made from "hot sticks." The art of rhyming intrigued him as they threw hundred dollar bills into the crowd. Music was his gateway to heaven on earth-explaining all he had to say through his walk of silence as a child. During his high school years he would be met with the temptation that many of his counterparts would be met with; becoming a man of the streets and wanting to become a so called "thug." It's during this period that he would be able to identify and connect with the story of one of his greatest musical inspirations Jay Z, and his classic body of work Reasonable Doubt. Not long after Israel would link up with other budding artists within the community and start making music with 4 track machines, and the rest is history. Israel's music speaks of the struggle; of selling hope. It paints the picture of the before and after, and reflects growth. He does it for the love, and he often describes his music as for the self-conscious and the self-aware. Israel's goal is to become successful and reach back into his community-to do the opposite of what he saw around him coming up. One of his many messages is that it's cool to be yourself. Israel's rawness, realness, and authenticity is what people will connect with, and what the game has been missing for many years. Israel sounds like no one else, and this uniqueness will evoke thought and hope in everyone that comes across his music.

327, is a R&B group that will capture your attention immediately with their unique way of blending the lyrics and sounds of today’s music with influences from 90's Hip Hop and R&B music.  The group is made up of Olivia Munroe, 24 and Jasmine Tucker, 23. The two met in middle school. As soon as they became friends and acknowledged each other’s talent and love for music they became inseparable.

Olivia Munroe, was born in Columbus, GA. Her family moved to White Plains, NY, the birthplace of her mother, while she was an infant. Olivia grew up in a family heavily influenced by music, and got the love for creating music mainly from her older brother and cousins. Growing up she was surrounded by classic R&B, reggae, hip hop and gospel, music she heard from both of her parents.

Jasmine Tucker was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Growing up, music was always prevalent in the household, it was like an escape from reality for everyone. Her mother use to tell her "for the longest time I couldn't get you to talk" but her first words were a song. Jasmine was born to sing.  Jasmine has stated that "I love all types of music as long as it has a beat I can dance to and I'll sing almost anything and make it into a song". 

Once Olivia and Jasmine became friends and realized that they both loved music and singing, they got together and wrote their own versions of songs that were popular and made cover videos for YouTube.  Soon after, they got the opportunity to record in a studio and started to write their own songs. The group name 327, is very important to the ladies as it adds some importance to both.  March 27th is Olivia's birthday and it is also the day Jasmine's father passed away.

Justin got into rap around the age of 14, but always looked at himself as a rock star even as a kid. His dad and mom left him for drug addiction and was raised by his mothers mom and her step dad. Justin's father Steve was a musician, he was the lead singer and guitarist of the band "Down periscope" and got on the radio one time in Florida back in the mid 90's. Justin's dad left to pursue a career of music so his father and band members hit road, heading to Florida , Texas, and Nashville meeting cool celebrities on their journey. Running into "Bobby Richie" aka "Kid Rock" and spending years with country sensation "Kieth Urban" under a bridge homeless was an eye opener for the rapper J T. It helped J T figure himself out and decide that he was meant for music being that it was running through his own blood and veins. Rap came later but J T was part of the big brother big sister program where he met "Brian" who just happened to be a musician and taught J T and his buddy's the basics on how to play instruments such as the drums, guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard. That is when Justin and friends got their own instruments and started their own band called "Blue Pearl" at the age of 11 or 12..It was not a real band but their drum set said"Blue Pearl" on it and they sat in the basement and tried to play their favorite Beatle songs, really they were just making a bunch of noise, but it meant more to J T than it meant to any of his friends who just did it for a hobby.

Dekarian “Killa D”  Ashley was Born in Minden, La. He began his musical aspirations at 12 Years old, with only a Karaoke Machine and a Mic. Growing up, his musical influences were Tupac, Biggie, Lil Wayne, The Ghetto Boys, and Jay-Z.  Growing up with so many negative influences, Killa D decided to use his music as an escape from the dangers of the street life.  Shortly after relocating to Houston, Tx, Killa D attended various networking events, where he met industry professionals to help him further his career.

In 2014 he signed an 2 year management contract with Grinding Independent Gangstas (GIG ENT) to release his debut single , “Dont Be Afraid (Wurk!)" feat TheazyStaccs. Shortly afterwards he would promote the project in Houston, Austin, and Dallas, Tx. To start of 2014. It might be 2016, but take a trip around the message boards and comments sections and you will still find confused, angry UK rap fans screaming for authenticity in one breath, and then shooting down artists who rap in their native accents, with the next. With labels like Blah, Bad Taste, AssociatedMinds and EatGood coming to the fore in recent years and bringing their regional accents with them, you could be forgiven for thinking that this was never an issue, but the reality is far different. Writer Gingerslim looks back through his own memories of UK hip-hop, and also speaks to a couple of artists, about their own recollections of who paved the way outside London, and what personal struggles they have had to deal with.

I got into hip-hop back in 1994, when I was 14, but my first memory of UK hip-hop was hearingLondon Posse’s Money Mad in about 1996 (which had been released way back in 1988). At the time I couldn’t believe there were people in this country making the same style of music I had grown to love, and hearing these people rapping in a British accent was an enlightening experience fo

But that was still a London accent, albeit with a heavy Jamaican twang. It was also pre-internet, so I remained blissfully unaware of the acts up and down the country, who had been trying to make a break with their own accents for years. Crews like Krispy 3 in Chorley, Ruthless Rap Assassins in Manchester, Suspekt in Derby and II Tone Committee in Glasgow, were bringing out records as far back as the late 80s and early 90s, and helped give rise to the Britcore movement, as it became known. This movement was the first time since hip-hop arrived on our shores where we actually had our own identity, and although the critical success of releases like Ruthless’ Killer Album in 1990 and II Tone’s Beings from a Word Struck Surface in 1991, never generated the same response on a commercial scale, the scene was strong enough to have piqued the interest of up and coming MCs from all over the country.

Every bit of a lyrical genius when it comes to his catchy punchlines and skillful delivery it totally amazes me that this guy has not been picked up by a major yet. Non the less we have caught wind of this amazing visual concept put together for your eyes to enjoy. Take a second and pause to think about what you hear and see because the message is clear. We are not going to delve into the politics of the matter because all opinions count but just want to say we love the way that the video was constructed and portrayed.
